I love the new HULK movie because it wasnt like watching SHREK. Hulk was lean, mean, and although still kinda a good guy he was by no means shiney and sparkly good guy. Mark Fergus who is working on a secret project for MARVEL that we all assume is Avengers talked about the potential of HULK being the villain in the upcoming Avengers movie... pretty much re-affirming that he probably is working on Avengers. In a recent interview he said;
“I hope ‘The Avengers’ embraces that,” Fergus said of having the Hulk as misunderstood baddie. “You don’t want like 10 super-badass good guys fighting together. Where’s the fun in that? Let’s break it off a little. Friends or colleagues who become enemies is always an interesting thing because you know it’s based on love and friendship and that’s always the worst thing to have turn bad — is someone you actually care about and someone you actually believe in.”
I think its a fantastic angle and a great idea. Mark Fergus of course wrote Iron Man and was not able to work on Iron MAn 2 because of his involvement with the 'secret marvel project'... aka Avengers.
