According to IESB the movie FATHOM which was in the gutters for awhile after the creator Michael Turners death from Bone Cancer.. is now back. Not only is it back they have reportedly just signed Megan Fox to star as the main character ASPEN. The film is being put together by Fox Atomic who are right now best known for their genre horror films like 28 Weeks Later and The Hills Have Eyes remakes.
A very basic overview of the comic goes like this; Fathom begins as the cruise ship Paradise arrives in San Diego 10 years after it was reported to have disappeared. A military quarantine was established to cross examine the crew and passengers, however no one on board knew that they had been missing. Compounding the mystery was an amnesiac girl discovered by the crew while the Paradise was still at sea. The girl could only remember that her name was Aspen.
