 The new trailer that is being yanked offline by Lionsgate everywhere is still up over at Film School Rejects. Now I just got done watching the trailer and I have to say I'm not really impressed. It kind of looks like Sin City 2 only I doubt Sin City 2 will look this bad. It is just totally stylized and toned WAY down on violence compared to Sin City. I think Frank Miller may be trying to pull a Robert Rodriguez on this picture and its not working. Mr. Miller please do not disappoint and pull this thing together.. the ending of the trailer is not too bad but the begining is just..

Adapated from the legendary Will Eisner’s graphic novels, THE SPIRIT tells the visceral, action-packed story of a man who fakes his own death and fights crime from the shadows of Central City. The Octopus – who kills anyone unfortunate enough to see his face – has a different mission: he’s going to wipe out the entire city.
