 The latest rumor is that Brad Pitt is the name that is being batted around to play THOR in the upcoming Marvel adaptation of the comic book according to LatinoReview. I can see this working. I am sure Brad Pitt wouldnt snub his nose at a good comic book role either. My favorite role of his in quite some time was his portrayal in TROY. He kicked alot of ass as the pained hero in that film. You will recall that tongues are a wagging since the THOR movie has technically just lost its director. According to IGN and Joblo the directors contract expired in December. The studio is still waiting on the script which is being worked on by I am Legend writer Mark Protosevich. Key note here is that just because his contract expired doesnt mean he is not directing it just yet... for all we know they are just waiting on the final script before renewing his contract but it is definitely odd that they let it lapse.
