This is pretty insane. It would seem that Hancock up until a few weeks ago included a statutory rape scene to it. Peter Berg told the NY Times that up until 3 weeks ago it was very sexual and very violent and dark, and yes had a rape scene. The movie has been before the ratings board twice to try and get the R rating dropped to a PG13.
I picture Hancock as a family friendly super hero adventure and the whole RAPE concept boggles my brain. I didnt realize it was intended to be this dark... but obviously the PG13 rating for its release means some serious editing has been done. Perhaps we will get an un-rated HANCOCK down the road?
