I am not at all excited by the idea of this but according to our friends at TheMovieBlog The creator of Gossip Girl, Josh Schwartz claims to be developing an X-Men Prequel. This one will follow a teen who goes to the Xavier institute and follow his days at the school.
This could be very cool but I have big fears they are going after a younger demographic and its going to have no big names, and a whole lot of cheesey teen angst to drive the storyline. I am all for X-Men prequels like the Wolverine and Magneto movies but this one has me worried... mainly because its the creator of Gossip Girl doing it. Thoughts?
