Some time back IESB let it be known a scooper told them that Maggie Q would play SilverFox in the upcoming Wolverine movie. A Great casting choice for a variety of reasons. Well today IESB is saying that in fact Lynn Collins is in the ranks to take that role. I thought Lynn Collins was his native american lover who gets killed by Sabretooth and then unleashes the long standing violence and hatred between Sabretooth and Wolverine.
So if its true to that story line I think Maggie is a much better choice then Lynn Collins just to 'look' the part. At anyrate until its on the casting notes its just speculation. Myself, I hope its not true and Maggie Q gets the part.
I didnt follow the Silver Fox character in alot of detail but my understanding is that she ends up popping up later in the timeline and her only special power is the ability to heal herself just like Wolverine does. Regardless of who gets cast I am watching this movie for Hugh Jackman and Wolverine and hopefully the bloody carnage that he brings to a much more rough and tumble Wolvie!
