The Goon at this very moment is the only comic that I read religiously. Anytime a new issue or one shot comes out by Eric Powell I scoop that up. Today the cover art and details came out about Issue #24 due on May 14th. If you haven't been keeping up Powell just handed over coloring duties to Dave Stewart in Issue #20 and he did a fantastic job.
Buzzard, formally the sheriff of a small western town where the townsfolk were turned into nefarious zombies, returns to Horse Eater's Woods to better understand the source of a horrifying curse that plagues the people of Goon's town. This issue also features a bonus story, written by Eric Powell with artwork by Kyle Holtz, which revisits the pie-eating Skunk Ape, who gets his kicks from terrorizing elementary school children.
