The TV rights for HULK and Iron Man have been snatched up already by the FX network. Smart move by FX but also a costly one. The word is that this deal which MARVEL has put together will only apply to the free cable however.
Paid networks will still get their own deals. In the case of Iron Man ShowTime will get it and HBO will get HULK. How much did this deal cost FX? 11%. So 11% of all revenue from airing the films will go right to the fine folks at MARVEL. Score!
