Space Jockey Alien HR Giger and Space Jockey To Appear in Alien Prequel Prometheus?Frankly, any news about Alien prequel Prometheus is good news.  We learned this weekend that South African actress Charlize Theron had been confirmed for one of the female leads, and now a source close to the project has revealed that this film is going to be pretty freaking weird, with an appearance by the HR Giger’s Space Jockey creature that appeared in the first film.  The source revealed this information to Sky Movies.

If the appearance of the Space Jockey is not enough to make you want to buy a ticket to the film 12 months in advance, the same insider confirms that HR Giger himself, the creature of the xenomorph aesthetic that we all know and love, is involved in the creation of  the various creatures and races that are set to appear in this film.

The source reports: “… HR Giger is working on the project… in an advisory capacity.  By the way, people are going to be in for a shock when they sit down to watch Prometheus and there’s an enormous semi-human head piloting a spaceship.”  What the frack?   I wanna see this movie right freaking now!
