Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Review

Got out to see the new blockbuster Transformers Revenge of the Fallen and I am happy to report that the critics got it wrong again. As much as film critics are panning the film as garbage, it is most certainly not. Transformers Revenge of the Fallen is what it is. Its a Michael Bay Blockbuster in line with the first one and his other smash hit films including The Island.

The film is well written, well directed and has some very well thought out characters for the most part. Admittedly the film has alot of very shallow humor and thin action sequences but that does not take away from the fact that the film is what it is. Its an action blockbuster that delivers action, romance, suspense and all kinds of robot madness. I would say that this sequel is easily on par with the first one if not slightly better. It starts off stronger has way more action and alot more interesting characters.

Clearly there is nothing worthy of critical acclaim in this movie but that does not take away from the fact it is a fun fanboy movie. Did I mention it features Megan Fox running around alot? Bouncing around much to the delight of all the teen boys in the theater when I saw it. I have to commend Michael Bay because he has done it again. He has delivered yet another mindless popcorn flick that is fun, packed with emotion, explosive and sexy ( thanks to Megan Fox ). I would say if you saw the first one you will love this one. If you did not see the first one but want to see a good action blockbuster.. this is it!
