Christian Bale as Dr Strange?

There has been lots of talk of a Dr Strange movie and today rumor hits that Christian Bale will play the part. LiveNews is reporting;

A source said: “Christian is hot property right now, courtesy of Batman. “Doctor Strange is a very different kind of hero to Batman and it’s felt Christian is the sort of actor who can make the part work on screen. “It is understood a deal could be struck in the coming weeks.”

It is really odd to think of Bale as any other superhero character. I dont think this will turn out to be true at all. I just dont see him working in another hero role since when we see him we will instantly expect Batman… not Dr. Strange.
