Transformers 2 Gets IMAX Treatment

No shock here but VARIETY is reporting that Tranformers 2 much like other big block buster films is getting the IMAX treatment and will be shot so that IMAX goers will get the full experience. No doubt part of this decision is so that when the BluRay is released for the film everyone can experience the high def insanity on their home theatre systems.

Transformer 2 will be released into theatres June 26th 2009 with a budget of over $300 million and will re-unite the original cast.
