Nathan Fillion in SuperHero Musical

Talk about funny. According to the official Nathan Fillian fan site he will be starring in a superhero musical being developed by Joss Whedon for the internet of all things. It’s the story of a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to.

Now two things. First that sounds friggin hilarious! Absolute gold. Two, I am not at all surprised to see Joss Whedon take his musical to the internet. Joss has a huge fan following, IE, FireFly, Serenity and studios have never understood his fans or vision ( I am one of said fans ). Taking it to the internet is genius. Making it make them some money… well that will be interesting.

Nathan Fillion is one of my favorite under rated actors and everytime I see him popping up in shows, like he did in Heroes it always makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Hes your average mans, manly man and he kicks alot of ass. Dare I say hes the Bruce Campbell of a new generation?
