LionsGate just emailed to let us know tha the official site for Punisher War Zone is now live. Punisher 2 WarZone will hit theatres September 12th 2008 according to MARVEL. I am very excited to see how this one pans out. As much as I have talked shit about the first Punisher movie I have to admit that it has GROWN on me and the more I watch it the more I seem to like it.. .despite its obvious flaws.
Waging his one-man war on the world of organized crime, ruthless vigilante-hero Frank Castle sets his sights on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti in Punisher WarZone. After Russoti is left horribly disfigured by Castle, he sets out for vengeance under his new alias: Jigsaw. With the "Punisher Task Force" hot on his trail and the FBI unable to take Jigsaw in, Frank must stand up to the formidable army that Jigsaw has recruited before more of his evil deeds go unpunished.
