Well its not a surrpise really but TV Guide is reporting that Michael Rosenbaum who plays Lex Luther and Kristen Kreuk who plays Lana Lane will NOT be returning for Smallville Season 8. Which invites the question how do you continue the season with two of the MAJOR players absent? Will they be killed off in a random off-season super-sneeze?
The CW announced in an official press release that they have renewed the long-running Thursday night team of SMALLVILLE, which will begin its eighth season. The big question now is will it continue to impress fans or will it start to loose cast members and continue its round about spiral into the toilet.
