 Peter Segal has been talking about Shazam for quite some time. A little while ago he told SciFiWire he was unsure of the films future but today from the trades comes word that the project is indeed alive at Warner Brothers. Its previous home was New Line. Peter told SciFi Wire that making the film is going to be a challenge due to timing.According to SciFi wire
"Though timing is going to be a key issue now, because ... normally we'd be working on a script while we're in post-production [on Get Smart], so that hopefully when we're done with post-production, we're ready to go into preproduction [on the next project].
But now we're sort of out of sync, so, unfortunately, I'll have to spend more time with my family." (That last comment was a joke.)
I still think the Rock would be a great choice to star as Shazam but who knows who they wil actually cast in the role of Bill Batson.
